Audi tests LMP1 sports car for 2012 »

Audi Sport is intensively preparing for the 2012 sports prototype season. A test team has started the next trial phase of the LMP1sports car for the 2012 season in the United States this week.

Kristensen joins Autosport International line-up »

As the only person to clinch eight victories in the world's most famous endurance race, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Tom Kristensen is the most successful sports car driver in history. The Dane will be joining his Audi team-mate and fellow Le Mans victor Allan McNish at Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre (NEC) on 12-15 January 2012 to entertain motorsport fans at Autosport International, the world's greatest motorsport show.

Team Nordic runner-up in the ROC Nations Cup »

Team Nordic aka Tom Kristensen and Juho Hänninen swept away all competition until the final of the ROC Nations Cup 2011 when they had to surrender to Sebastian Vettel and Michael Schumacher. The two F1-champions secured their fifth consecutive ROC Nations Cup title for Team Germany on home soil in Düsseldorf's ESPRIT arena.

”It’s been a character-building year” »

As was often the case this year, Tom Kristensen and Allan McNish was lacking the necessary bit of luck at Zhuhai after the duo had been setting the pace at the beginning of the race. For the third time this season the Dane and the Scotsman in the Audi #2 were forced to retire due to a collision in which they were not at fault.

Tom K just thousandths of a second from pole position »

Tom Kristensen and Allan McNish will tackle the finale of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup (ILMC) at Zhuhai from the second row of the grid. In qualifying on Saturday Tom Kristensen took grid position three for Audi in 27 degrees in the shade. The Le Mans record winner was merely 269 thousandths of a second short of the pole position.

Disappointing Petit Le Mans for Audi »

The 1,000-mile "Petit Le Mans" race at Road Atlanta was extremely disappointing for Tom K and Audi in general. After several collisions, Audi Sport Team Joest took the Audi R18 TDI #2 out of the race early for safety reasons.
